Girls Gone Wild

SEE all Showtimes

GIRLS GONE WILD is a dark humor stand-up comedy show highlighting the boldest women of Austin’s thriving comedy scene. You've been warned.

Looking for a night that’s equal parts unhinged and unforgettable? GIRLS GONE WILD is a monthly stand-up comedy showcase packed with chaotic energy, twisted punchlines, and fearless fun — featuring a mostly female lineup of sharp, savage comics who aren't afraid to take it there.

Good girls go to heaven. Bad girls get a showcase.

This sho takes place at The Creek and The Cave, located at 611 E 7th St, Austin, TX 78701. Metered street parking is available nearby, but because it’s downtown Austin, we recommend arriving early or taking a rideshare. Doors open at 7:30 PM, and the show runs until 9:30 PM. Tickets are $15 online and $20 at the door. There’s no official dress code, but we encourage you to show up in whatever makes you feel sexy, unbothered, or a little unhinged.

Hosted by Destiny Lalane @destinylalane — a New York–raised, Austin-based stand-up comedian featured on LMAOF, Roast Battles, Don’t Tell Comedy, and SiriusXM Radio — GIRLS GONE WILD is her signature showcase for bold, unapologetic comedy.

No hacks. Just a good time.

The Unteachables

SEE all Showtimes

One was teacher of the year and the other got fired for posting jokes online.  They’re unhinged, uncensored, and unforgettable.  The Unteachables bring you a night of comedy and unfiltered QnA.  Known to you as the students who were always the loud kids in the back of the classroom, the Unteachables are a group of stand-up comedians who just happened to fall backwards into educating America’s youth. Their material extends far beyond just the chaos that exists in their classroom. They offer authentic comedy to everyone, regardless of if they've worked in education, need a break from reality, or just love to laugh. The Unteachables have been featured on NBC, The Breakfast Club, The New York Post, and the Roast Battle League.

Stephen Taylor

Originally a Louisiana native, Stephen moved to Kansas City to escape his traditional southern roots. Combining his unique perspective with some interesting stories and some sweet southern charm, Stephen headlines and features at your favorite clubs, bars, and colleges across the country, as well as his own classroom. He has been featured on The Breakfast Club, The New York Post, and at San Francisco Sketchfest. His debut album 'The Bottom Half' was number one on iTunes and can be heard on Sirius XM

Lou Pharis

Raised in the non-famous parts of Louisiana, Lou Pharis never thought he’d be anything more than an NFL caliber offensive lineman. After failing to go pro and then losing out on American Ninja Warrior, Lou turned his talents to the public education system. A particularly rough day at school made Lou sign up for his first open mic when he realized there’s a teacher shortage, so he couldn’t be fired for doing comedy. Lou’s stand-up has since found massive success, garnering over 100 million views on social media. He has headlined clubs such as Zanies, Comedy Works, and Wiseguys, been seen on NBC and Bored Teachers, and has performed at dozens of comedy festivals across the country.

Miss Redacted

Miss Redacted is a teacher, soon to be trophy wife, and rapidly rising comedian. After spending years in the classroom she now uses stand-up to process what therapy and a salary schedule couldn't. Despite the efforts of her girl boss mother, she is a true southern woman who enjoys waffle house and camo mini skirts. Best known as a co-host of the wildly popular Teacher Quit Talk podcast, and from her millions of views on TikTok, she promises her set will not include a lesson objective.

Joe Mckenna

Joe McKenna is a comedian from Boston, Massachusetts. One of the fastest rising comics in Denver, Joe utilizes his experience as a middle school teacher and traveler to recount his most bizarre undergoings with his students, his time spent abroad, and the ever changing social expectations of the youth. Joe has been seen at comedy clubs across the US, and has worked with household comedians such as Mark Normand, Shane Gillis, and Jeff Ross.

Last minute plans are some of the best. Free last minute plans are even better. The list of free things to do in Austin felt a little short, so we’ve been steadily adding new weekly shows to our calendar that cost nothing, zilch, nada. Free. The city might be expensive, but the comedy doesn’t have to be.

There aren’t a lot of Austin comedy clubs that have free weekly shows hosting some of the biggest names in stand-up. If you just paid rent and still wanna make date night memorable, swing by The Creek for one of our many free shows.
